Vincent Moon directs Arcade Fire in this Take Away Show. The band playing in an elevator? Genius! … of and among the crowd. Heavenly!
Noise Pop Festival opens on February 21st in San Francisco. Among other things, I am really excited about some of the films that will be screened as part of the filme series of the festival.

Arcade Fire is on the roll these days with Grammy nominations and one of the headliners at Coachella this year. MIROIR NOIR is a behind the scenes documentary about the band and their tour for their album Neon Bible. I expect some interesting surreal imagery to pop up in the documentary. Vincent Moon who shot the film, is known for his Take Away Shows, in an interview called the band and its managers “awful, awful” people. The band’s Manager, Scott Rodger responded by calling him unreliable, a drug addict, and a thief. Oh the drama of Indie music! :)

Look At What The Light Did Now documents Feist and the popuplarity she gained from her Grammy nominated album, The Reminder.
